Terms of Service

Litgent Serve provides workflow software for law firms. You may use Litgent Serve for legitimate business purposes consistent with these Terms and applicable law. Each user is bound by these Terms regardless of plan tier.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter agreements on behalf of your firm. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You are responsible for: (1) the accuracy of data you enter into Litgent Serve, (2) compliance with applicable bar rules and laws governing your practice, (3) obtaining client consent before processing client data, (4) supervising AI-generated outputs before sending or filing them, and (5) maintaining client confidentiality and privilege.

Litgent Serve provides AI-assisted features as drafting and analysis tools. AI outputs are suggestions only. They are not legal advice and may contain errors. Every AI-generated message, summary, draft, or analysis must be reviewed and approved by a qualified attorney before any action is taken. We are not liable for actions taken on AI outputs without proper review.

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Pricing and plan features may change with notice. Refunds are handled case by case in accordance with our refund policy. Failure to pay may result in account suspension or termination.

We own Litgent Serve and all related software, branding, and content. You own your data. By using Litgent Serve, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely to operate the service. We never claim ownership of your client data, work product, or firm information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litgent Serve is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Litgent Serve. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. Litgent Serve is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data, after which it is deleted from production systems. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these Terms with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
